ABOUT SARAH
I have been making mosaics for more than 25 years, following many years of making ceramics, textiles, drawing and painting. These different disciplines continue to influence the way I work with colour, texture, pattern and materials. I am based full time in my home studio in Hanwell, West London, where I make original mosaic pieces for sale as well as undertaking commissions. My work is exhibited regularly at galleries and art fairs across London and the South East.
Alongside my own practice, I teach adult mosaic weekend and 1-day workshops throughout the year in London and as a guest tutor elsewhere in the UK. I really enjoy sharing the practical and creative aspects of working with mosaic and helping people develop their own ideas and techniques. I am a professional member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic (BAMM).
